SOCIAL HOUSING TENANT

APRIL 2024

We were presented with a social housing tenant, via Beam who house through the Ukrainian rental support refugee grant process.

Petermans provided a potential property, through a private rental sector landlord with multiple properties across London, that matched the internal affordability and suitability checks of Beam, as well as a full guarantor and an independent third party rent guarantee in order to proceed with viewing the property.

The social housing tenant, having decided to move ahead with the property, was then fully referenced via Goodlord, an industry accredited referencing agency. The tenant was successfully housed within a week, following successful vetting in a prime SE24 location.

TESTIMONIAL

One week has passed since we moved into a flat on Beckwith Road. I still can't believe that it's happened; so quick, so painless, like in a fairy tale. People ask me "How could you do this?" - I always respond "It's magic". I would like to say "Thank you"  to all my magicians.

The best team ever worked with our case, a team of real professionals. And, it worked so well that we didn't even feel the process. I was prepared for a long searching, struggling because of my low income, children etc. None of this happened. You all believed in us for some reason. It gives us hope, inspires a faith in sincere people...We say, "The goodness you sow always returns to you". I wish all your goodness to come back a hundredfold to you.

We all became a part of the story/history but, it depends on us whether we are good or bad characters. It is not enough words to describe how much we appreciate and how grateful we are for all that you did for us. Thank you very-very much for your help and support.

SOCIAL SECURED
MANAGEMENT PROPERTY

MAY 2024

A new private rental sector landlord was approached with the opportunity to house through our social housing programme, having recently enquired for our management service.

After presenting the property as an option to a third party NGO, the potential tenant was fully financially qualified via internal affordability checks. In this case, the applicant was fully funded via universal credit and matched the rent requirement, along with third party rental gurantee. Upon viewing the property, the applicant was keen to take the flat and was processed and confirmed as a suitable tenant via Goodlord.

The property required further maintenance pre move in and the agency consulted on the works pre move in. The full upgrading of EICR and gas safety were completed quickly, via consultancy contacts. The tenant was then successfully housed within a week in a Peckham.
